#SABM2021 Annual Meeting attendees,
thank you for visiting HemoSonics!

September 21-26, 2021

We look forward to interacting with you at the SABM-2021 Virtual Meeting!

Join us for our workshop

 Thursday, September 23, 1:30-2:00pm EDT.

Presented by Julie Navarro, MSN, RN,
Clinical Specialist with HemoSonics, LLC

Currently, the healthcare environment is under extreme pressure. Providers are being asked to do more with fewer resources as the burnout rate continues to rise. It is critical to provide tools and technology that allow healthcare teams to be efficient and effective. There is no time to waste on complex workflows and confusing interpretations, as every minute counts.

Join us Thursday, September 23 at 1:30pm, to learn how you can help simplify complex coagulation, minimize waste of resources and time, and improve communication on transfusion decisions. Improved patient outcomes result from providing our dedicated teams with the right tools. Do we have what it takes?

On Friday, September 24, 1:30-2:30pm, we recommend attending Making Use of Technology to Advance Patient Care featuring Linda Shore-Lesserson, MD, of North Shore University Hospital, discussing efective Use of Viscoelastic Testing

As your facility ramps up elective cardiac surgeries, goal-directed bleeding management and optimized use of blood products are of utmost importance. Whole-blood viscoelastic testing at the point of care has been proven to improve patient outcomes and reduce blood products usage and wastage. The Quantra Hemostasis Analyzer is the next-generation, closed-cartridge viscoelastic hemostatic assay optimized for point-of-care use in perioperative patients:

  • Ease of use: Simple, intuitive, and safe POC workflow from sample collection to cartridge disposal.
  • Ease of interpretation: Innovative “dials” display option for expedited interpretation training.
  • Rapid actionable results: Whole blood coagulation information within 15 minutes or less.
  • Hassle-free validation, training, and IQCP development facilitated by HemoSonics.
  • No fuss maintenance and infrequent external QC recommendation.

The Quantra is the only device on which we can operate safely without needing specialized rooms and a biohazard cabinet…
