Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for executing, coordinating and managing daily warehousing activities, including all inventory tasks and oversight of the shipping, receiving, and incoming inspection functions.


  • Generate transactions in ERP system and ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements
  • Ensure compliance to all warehousing processes and procedures
  • Perform weekly cycle counts
  • Ensure on-hands of selected locations are physically and systematically accurate in ERP system
  • Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored
  • Work with Operations Management to ensure inventory is available in production work cells to support production builds
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including potential use of forklifts
  • Oversee incoming inspection of components including visual inspections and metrology
  • Supervise, coach and develop warehouse personnel to ensure accuracy, compliance and timeliness of all warehouse activities
  • Approve and ensure accuracy of timecards for hourly warehouse personnel by due date

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations/procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams
  • Significant experience using warehouse inventory and ERP systems
  • Experience in a medical device environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of FDA/GMP/ISO13485 preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • May involve travel to HemoSonics facilities in North Carolina and Virginia as needed
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to pass forklift certification exam
