Description
HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Sr. IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the Company’s in-house and cloud-based information systems.

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Experienced and passionate about supporting and training users, overseeing IT MSP support activities and projects, administering Microsoft Cloud services (Azure; MS 365); Office 365) and constantly learning new skills and technologies.
  • Experienced in FDA/GXP regulated environments, with the ability to perform software validation and or verification, author and maintain Policies and Work Instructions, and conduct IT Change Management procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience with the ITIL framework.
  • High level of personal accountability and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and tuning of Microsoft M365 services (Exchange, Teams, InTune/EndPoint Manager/AutoPilot, Azure AD, OneDrive, SharePoint, Office, MFA).
  • Overall responsibility for Hybrid Active Directory and associated services (ADFS, Group Policy, DNS, Certificate Services/PKI).
  • Installation, configuration, and management of personal computers and Microsoft Windows Servers.
  • Support and management of existing WAN/LAN infrastructure.
  • Responding to escalated Tier-2 and 3 requests for technical assistance.
  • Documentation of operating procedures and system configurations.
  • Utilizing change management process to properly document and communicate changes.
  • Staying up-to-date on current and emerging technologies and tools.
  • Collaborating with other team members to accomplish common goals.
  • Prepare and deliver New User’s onboarding.
  • Support the IT Sr. Manager in managing vendors’ services (I.e.: IT MSP; Print MSP; ERP Hosting).
  • Support the implementation of the ISMS (Information Security Management System) and ITIL practices.
  • Lead IT infrastructure related projects as assigned, to including developing and delivering training to end-users.

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline and 7+ years’ experience as a System Administrator, Systems Engineer, Support Engineer, or equivalent roles, preferably from FDA/GxP regulated environments; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with security principles, software management best practices, and system hardening.
  • Operational experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with vendors outside the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment where system changes are carefully controlled and coordinated with multiple groups.
  • Proven advanced experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Azure and Microsoft M365 and SharePoint administration.
  • Professional certification preferred (e.g. ITIL foundations or practitioner; AZ-104 or higher; MS 365).
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level experience in as many of the following skill areas as possible:
    • Microsoft Office 365 Administration and support
    • OneDrive
    • SharePoint
    • MS Teams
    • Microsoft Key Management Service Administration
    • Microsoft Windows Server OS administration and support (File server; Print Sever)
    • Microsoft Active Directory Administration
    • Microsoft Group Policy Administration
    • Microsoft Windows OS administration and support
    • Azure (preferably) or AWS cloud services administration
    • DNS/DHCP/WINS Administration
    • Data Circuits monitoring and management (I.e.: Internet; VPN; SDWAN; MPLS)
    • IT vendors and service providers management (I.e.: Print management; MSP; Microsoft; Dell)
    • Basic PC hardware maintenance
    • Backup and Restores processes/procedures
    • Voip based Telephony systems (I.e,: Vonage; IVR; call routin; Voip phone provisioning)
    • Mobile telephony support (IOS; Android)
    • MAC OS support
    • Experience with ITIL v2 or higher
    • Microsoft SQL Server Maintenance (is a plus)
    • VMware/Hyper-V Virtual Server Administration (is a plus)
    • Ubiquiti WiFi administration (is a plus)
    • SonicWall Firewall administration (is a plus)
    • Microsoft PowerShell Scripting (is a plus)
