Regional Sales Manager – Southeast

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for the sale of HemoSonics products and services in the Southeastern region. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to recruit, hire, train and coach Sales Consultants to be successful in their assigned region(s), and to provide ongoing support to Sales Consultants to identify, cultivate and close business opportunities. The Regional Sales Manager ensures profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, execution and management of a team of Sales personnel and by coordinating additional support as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency, discipline, commitment and organization regarding the commercialization of new products and achieving company objectives.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with ability to clearly, persuasively, and thoroughly communicate regarding all company matters with clinicians, technicians and others key buying influencers.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and flexible to changing environment.
  • Demonstrated record of Sales goal attainment.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and data programs.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, entrepreneurial manner.
  • Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential impediments to successful achievement of identified goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of up to 8 HemoSonics Sales personnel.
  • Recruit and hire Sales Consultants as identified by the VP of Sales in given geographies.
  • Manage Sales Consultant activities, including but not limited to the oversight of:
    • Account Prospecting
    • Lead generation and follow-up
    • Early funnel development
    • Funnel Maturity
    • Writing and presenting product acquisition proposals
    • Overcoming client objections
    • Managing the closing process
    • Forecasting unit placements and revenue
    • Installation and Validation of sold equipment
    • Ongoing consumable revenue purchases
  • Responsible for the coaching, mentoring and professional development of Sales Consultants.
  • Manage under-performing Sales Consultants to ensure achievement of expected results.
  • Implement and supervise Sales Consultants’ usage of Salesforce CRM.
  • Implement and utilize appropriate techniques required for navigating a complex sale environment.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales performance.
  • Travel jointly with Sales Consultants during critical times in the Sales process.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BS degree in Business Administration, the sciences, or relevant field
  • 10+ years’ experience in medical device sales and/or sales management
  • Experience working with key clinicians e.g. RN, Perfusionist, PA, NP, MD or similar
  • Experience calling on key clinical call points
  • Experience working with or using Viscoelastic Testing (VET) Devices or other point-of-care (POC) coagulation monitors preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to travel approx. 75% of the time (domestic).
  • Must be able to carry or lift up to 50lbs.
