Labeling Technician

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Labeling Technician who will be responsible for all labeling activities, to include the creation and printing of labels, scheduling and organization of the labeling of kit components, and organizing the kitting of HemoSonics products.  

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Ability to perform job tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience operating scanners, printers and label counters.
  • Ability to stage Raw materials and documentation per process order for kitting event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the label counters, scanners and Sato printers.
  • Prepare and document batch record information associated with kitting events and add relevant information to the DHR.
  • Perform extensive documentation review and reconciliation of material.
  • Perform ERP transactions.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of the kitting room and associated equipment.
  • Adhere to all Company Safety and Quality procedures and use personal protection equipment as needed to perform routine and non-routine duties
  • Work with Reagent Manufacturing team and others cross-functionally as needed to organize personnel needed to complete kitting events.
  • Deliver final packaged kits to correct storage location until final release of kits.
  • Maintain awareness of schedule to ensure kitting events are executed without a delay to the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

      Education and Experience Required:

      • High School diploma and 2+ years’ experience working in a GMP environment.
      • College degree preferred.
      • Prior FDA regulated environment experience preferred.

      Physical and Travel Requirements:

      • May involve travel to HemoSonics facilities in North Carolina.
      • Must be able to lift/carry up to 25lbs.
