Inventory Specialist

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking an Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for the flow of material in and out of the warehouse and production areas.   

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations/procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate transactions in ERP system and ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements.
  • Ensure compliance to all inventory processes and procedures.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts.
  • Ensure on-hands of selected locations are physically and systematically accurate in ERP system.
  • Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored.
  • Work with Operations Manager to ensure inventory is available in production work cells to support production builds.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including potential use of forklifts.
  • Perform incoming inspection of components including visual inspections and metrology.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School diploma and 3-5 years’ experience in inventory management and production control.
  • Experience using warehouse inventory systems.
  • Experience in a medical device environment preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass forklift certification exam.
  • May involve travel to HemoSonics facilities in NC and VA as needed.
