Description
HemoSonics, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating the flow of material in and out of the warehouse and production areas.

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations/procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office and electronic inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate transactions in ERP system and ensure proper transaction execution for all inventory movements.
  • Ensure compliance to all inventory processes and procedures.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure on-hands of selected locations are physically and systematically accurate in ERP system.
  • Ensure proper physical controls regarding inventory are in place and monitored.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations team to ensure inventory is available in production work cells to support production builds.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including potential use of forklifts.
  • Perform incoming inspection of components including visual inspections and metrology as needed.

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • High School diploma and 3+ years’ experience in inventory management/production control; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience using warehouse/inventory ERP systems.
  • Experience in a medical device environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FDA/GMP/ISO13485 preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a forklift certification exam and safely operate a forklift post-certification.

This is an onsite position at our Durham, NC facility. HemoSonics requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or meet the requirements for medical or religious exemption.
