Connectivity Specialist

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Connectivity Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring successful connectivity of Hemostasis products to hospital IT infrastructure.   

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • In depth knowledge of computer networking
  • Experience working within FDA/ISO Quality Management System
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills – the ability to effectively communicate with both IT technical and non-technical personnel
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales and Marketing personnel before, during, and after sales by answering connectivity questions
  • Complete hospital information technology Risk Assessments (security, compliance, technical configuration)
  • Communicate and collaborate with IT personnel and clinical project managers at hospitals to connect Quantra to existing facility POCT/LIS/HIS/EMR infrastructure
  • Work with third party vendors of POCT or LIS solutions for connectivity and troubleshooting when needed
  • Provide technical support for complex connectivity inquiries and troubleshooting
  • Provide training to clinical staff, IT personnel and commercial teams on Quantra network solutions

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, and at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role; or equivalent experience
  • Experience with medical device connectivity to hospital POCT/LIS/HIS/EMR preferred
  • Knowledge of medical device connectivity preferred
  • Knowledge of POCT01-A2 and LIS02-A2 compliance preferred
  • Knowledge of POCT system infrastructure and message routing systems preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital network security, HIPAA, data security considerations preferred
