Commercial Finance Administrator

HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Commercial Finance Administrator who will oversee the accurate and efficient collection of payments form HemoSonics’ customers, to include the management of invoices and reagent rental contracts, monitoring customer late/missed payments and all aspects related to Accounts Receivable.

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google apps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in team environment AND independently as appropriate
  • Ability to create and present detailed accounting reports
  • Proficient in QuickBooks or other similar accounting software

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor processing of company invoices
  • Ensure timely collection of payments
  • Conduct credit checks on potential customers
  • Negotiate with customers regarding late payments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports
  • Work with tax group to ensure proper sales tax registration and reporting
  • Ensure high quality invoicing and collection procedures that are legally compliant
  • Collaborate with Finance and Sales groups to properly establish and maintain accounts
  • Analyze and maintain customer contracts and agreements
  • Manage reagent rental and/or lease agreements
  • Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience; or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Experience working within an ERP system

The position is based in Durham, NC.
