HemoSonics, LLC is seeking a Global Marketing Manager who will play a key role building HemoSonics brands and successfully positioning them in the market. This position collaborates with regional commercial counterparts and cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products on a global basis. The incumbent will have responsibility for upstream and downstream global marketing functions, including brand management/strategy/communications, commercial aspects of new product development, pre-launch and commercialization planning, demand generation, digital marketing, portfolio positioning, and market analytics & intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Regional Commercial teams to maximize HemoSonics Quantra’s impact across markets better serving patients.
  • Serve as business lead on assigned NPD – New Product Development core teams, creating business cases, ensuring voice of customer market feedback is incorporated into NPD requirements, and developing go-to-market product launch plans.
  • Support Regions with operational marketing/business plans.
  • Drive and monitor product portfolio performance and competitiveness.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to prioritize and execute the overall new & modified product portfolio.
  • Execute key pre-launch marketing strategies and tactics for new products / indications.
  • Deliver globally applicable:
    • Market segmentation
    • Target customer segments
    • Competitive audits and SWOTs
    • Positioning and key messages
    • NPD launch packages that can be modified locally as needed by Regional Marketing.
  • Gather primary and secondary market research on global scale. Conduct market opportunity assessments.
  • Utilize marketing product concepts or target product profiles to develop solid business cases.
  • Oversee Marketing Communications function which serves as a ‘shared service’ to Regional Marketing partners on all major projects.
  • Manage review and approval process for external-facing communications [labeling, technical bulletins, field communication].
  • Responsible for developing digital, social media strategy, development of global press releases, and ensuring timely approval of regional press releases. Communicate marketing programs and activities internally and externally, to include internal training, website maintenance, corporate social media accounts, email campaigns (per plan).
  • Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline.
  • Regularly analyze current communications and messages to ensure consistency.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related discipline and 5-7 years’ Marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience successfully partnering with global colleagues on new product development, early commercial and pre-launch / new product launch activities
  • Medical device/biotech industry experience required

The position is based at our facility in Durham, NC and will involve up to 30% travel globally. HemoSonics requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or meet requirements for a medical or religious exemption.
